Fabio Tambone is currently Head of the International Affairs of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Electricity, Gas and Water (AEEGSI).
He strongly supported the creation of WAREG (European Water Regulators) and assisting the new President for on going activities.
He is General Coordinator of MEDREG (Mediterranean Regulators for Electricity and Gas).
He previously worked at the World Bank in USA, the European Commission in Brussels, and in the private sector carried out several activities worldwide managing international development programmes and projects and performing strategic researches within the energy sector. He graduated
in business economics at University of Bologna and earned academic specialization at Bocconi University and a MBA at MIP Business School (Politecnico di Milano). He had some collaboration with Politecnico di Bari and published several articles at national and international level.
